WHO WE ARE
Sofima is a family-owned company founded in 1974 as a small business in the heart of Maceira. Over time, it has evolved and grown into a solid industrial reality dedicated to the casting of light alloys (Zamak, Aluminum, and Brass) and stainless steel stamping. We produce and market raw products, coated with electrostatic paint or with galvanic treatment, for various sectors from Religious and Funeral Articles to Architectural Hardware for Civil Construction and Furniture. We are also an excellent subcontracting partner for the development of specific projects.
With 52 years of history, many dynamics have changed, but one thing has remained unchanged: the passion for work that has been passed down from father to children. Sofima has a team of over 50 highly qualified employees and its own facilities covering an area of over 7,000 m2.
Since its establishment, Sofima’s main goal has been to ensure higher quality products for its customers while ensuring the professional fulfillment of its employees. It obtained the certification of Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001 standard in 2000. Sofima continuously seeks to improve its processes by investing in technical and human resources to achieve ongoing improvement in its work.
Sofima not only focuses on producing high-quality pieces but also places a strong emphasis on innovation and development, with a growing Project and Development sector.
Furthermore, the company has a constant concern for sustainability, implementing responsible environmental practices in all its production processes.
